Why sony ericsson phones beats any iphone.

Since my first sony ericsson walkman mobile phone I have been tuning into the radio, listening on journeys to school, holiday and finally uni...even could hide headphones behind my longish winter hair whilst on the job. Radio 4 for curious minds is always an interest to keep my mind wandering about gardeners question time or david mitchells the unbelievable truth.

Anyway, I was able to listen to radio on my phone because sony ericsson has it built in. Yes you can get radio over the net via an app but that requires internet connection and data charges apply.

Im a pc but was fortunate to receive an ipad. It revolutionised my learning experience with TED. I was sure I was going to pair it wih an iphone on my next mobile phone contract upgrade.

After doing my research I could not find any significant differnece between an iphone and the all new sony ericsson xperia ray. Both 8mp, both shoot hd video and both have an app marketplace. However SIRI was introduced but sony ericsson has the built in radio. Iphone 4s just didnt have the beef to compete against the xperia ray.

I upgraded to the xperia ray and have not looked back at the iphone since. Comparing to what my ipad would be if it where palm sized, honestly, the xperia ray is cheaper and allows for long uninterrupted radio 4 listening pleasure. Perfect for when im running or chilling or working. A postman is a good job with a radio.

And if I ever do want to stream the radio, I have the same facilities to do so. So...

I guess until data usage is free unlimited in the real sense of the word (not capped to 500mb, as my 'unlimited internet' implies) I'll stick with my trusty sony ericsson.

Right, time to catch dessert island disks with Kirsty Young....

Hello, I'm the apathetic ox

Don't really care about much these days. As long as I can chew on grass and enjoy my time then I'm happy. My purpose is to improve that time! Follow me if you found the posts helpful!
